Add as little as 1 inch to as much as 4 inches on each side of the nappy to allow your baby to continue using the nappy. You will need one set per nappy and if they get moist you will have to wash them together with the nappy. You don't need to buy these unless you notice the nappy is getting small for your baby.
Some babies will not need these extenders it all.
